In 2017, the capital of Russia celebrated its 870th anniversary. Not only the center of Moscow, but also all the districts were decorated for the anniversary celebration of the City Day. As part of the concept, the following was decorated:
• The city's central part – within the frame of the "Moscow – 870 The City Where History Is Created" thematic festival, the urban space was filled with art objects, including not only lighting effects, but also elements of vertical gardening and floristry.
• Places of traditional mass festivities and walking routes – small-sized walk-through structures, which could be used as original artistic "frames" for commemorative photographs, were installed.
