The main purpose of the thematic decoration for celebrating the Victory in World War 2 is to create a particularly solemn and festive atmosphere in the city, for which the following design methods are used:
- Decorative flag compositions – a traditional method of adorning urban areas, which reflects the tradition of using ribbons and flags as a Victory symbol. Flag compositions are a multifunctional decoration element that can be placed on lighting posts, bridges, buildings, and as independent art objects.
- Volumetric decorative structures – often used for thematic decoration of squares and venues of mass festivities. The use of modern technologies to create the VDSs makes them bright and spectacular decoration objects that attract attention at any time of the day and organically complement the urban architectural space.
- Mobile information stands are new-generation structures equipped with a removable information unit, which may include a documentary historical component. Due to the modern design, the stands are not only an information medium, but also an element of urban environment decoration.
