The fountain is the central object of Europe Square, located near the Kievsky railway station, and is an allegorical sculptural composition based on a well-known mythological subject. The image of a floating mythical buffalo prompted the main idea of the jet design, which is a nautical style.
A scenario has been developed in which a floating cloud appears above the surface of the water at a certain moment. The jets burst out in orderly rows through the shroud of cloud. Their oscillation and smooth change in altitude mimic the excitement of the sea element. At the climax, when the height of the jets in the central bowl is maximum, the water splashes into the cascading part of the fountain like a wave crest.
Emotional support of the water element is provided by light dynamics, in which the entire palette of sea water is presented, from peaceful green to expressive white.
