The concept of Moscow lighting design in the fall-winter period was developed as part of the program to create a comfortable antidepressant urban environment. To create a favorable atmosphere, they used the methods of forming the light and color appearance of the environment that created a positive emotional mood.
Seasonal lighting design implies changing the lighting color scheme depending on the season and includes: illumination of the green areas of recreation zones, boulevards and squares, decoration of leafless trees with LED garlands, everyday illumination of outbound routes, as well as the architectural illumination of facades.
The combination of all the used seasonal lighting decorations expands the city light space through increasing the general illumination level, creates an emotionally attractive urban environment and reduces the adverse fall-winter psychological stress for city residents.
